My love affair with fine jewelry began years ago, at my grandmother’s house. I had the unique privilege of coming from a family of jewelers and every summer I would get to delve into the family “treasure chest” at Nana’s. It was a beautiful old Victorian on a corner lot with a huge cherry tree in the front yard. My nana was an elegant woman, with the poise of Grace Kelly and the patience of Mother Theresa.

As soon as we arrived, I would run upstairs and into her closet, donning heels, furs, and ruby red lipstick, prancing in front of the mirror like a Hollywood starlet. Raiding her jewelry box, I would adorn myself in gold and diamonds. It was a young princess’s dream come true. Once properly dressed for a royal gala, I would board my trusty carboard box and slide down the stairs to the ball, much to my grandfathers bemusement.

Understandably, all the women in my family were obsessed with jewelry from a young age. From the Great William Goldberg to Fred Leighton and Natori, jewelry of every style and kind has been worn and loved by “us gals”. This is that background that has inspired my designs. From simple classic staples to the bold and daring, our jewelry comes from a long tradition of craftsmanship and pride in excellence.
